Travel to Odense

Airport

If travel by plane it is easiest to travel to Copenhagen Airport. 

From the airport (by train)

When arriving in Copenhagen airport, the easiest way to get to Odense is by train. Everything you need, ticketing office and exit to the platforms, is available from the lobby at Copenhagen Airport. Please remember to buy a separate seat ticket if you want to be sure to be seated the whole journey.

There are two train options:

• Option 1: The train departs directly from the airport and arrives in Odense approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes later. The trains depart frequently.
• Option 2: From Copenhagen Airport you take the train to Copenhagen Central Station. At Copenhagen Central Station you take the train to Odense. You buy the train ticket to Odense at the Airport.

It can be easier to travel to Odense by train if you come from northern Germany or Southern Sweden.

Arriving in Odense

There is a tram that departs from the center of Odense to the university. Please read more on how to purchase the tram tickets here. 

Accommodation

We recommend the use of Cabinn Hotel, which is located next to Odense train station.

You can also book Hotel Plaza, which is just across from the train station.

Both hotels are nearby a tram stop.
