Undergraduate Scholarships from Novo Nordisk Foundation

On behalf of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Aalborg University, Aarhus Univesity, University of Copenhagen and SDU offer scholarships to undergraduate research projects. The purpose of the undergraduate scholarships from Novo Nordisk Foundation is to give students an oportunity to become deeply involved in a research project embedded in excellent research environments at universities, hospitals, or other research institutions. The goal is that the scholarship will open the eyes of the student for the possibility of a future research career.

Important dates

There is two application rounds per year (starting December 2025):

The application in the spring will open on December 1st and has a deadline on February 20th
The application in the fall will open on May 1st and has a deadline on September 20th

For the assessors

Applications from AU will be assessed by assessors at KU and vice versa

Applications from AAU will be assessed by assessors at SDU and vice versa
