Lucie Gerber, Department of Biology, has defended her Ph.D. thesis with the lecture The role of nitric oxide in coping with environmental stress in fish.
Nils J. Færgeman, Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received DKK 2.314.080 from The Danish Research Council for the project Molecular Switches and Circuits Orchestrating Mammalian Lipid Metabolism.
Martin R. Larsen, Professor mso, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received DKK 30.000 from the organization EMBO for hosting the course Characterization of post-translational modifications in cellular signaling.
Peter Reinholdt, Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, has been awarded for the best bachelor project about theoretical chemistry in 2016 titled Polarizable Density Embedding – exploring the performance of a new multiscale method. The award was presented at the autumn meeting of Teoretisk Sektion.
