The Campus library in Sønderborg was established in connection with the Southern Denmark School of Engineering and became part of the University Library of Southern Denmark in 1999.

The Campus library in Sønderborg has a stock of nearly 50.000 volumes, subscribes to about 700 printed journals and gives access to more than 7.000 electronic journals and a large number of scientific databases.

The subject areas covered are primarily those researched and taught in at the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg. First and foremost business economics, engineering, languages, business languages and the social sciences.

Most of the library's books are stored on open shelves, and can be borrowed immediately at the lending desk.

Most of the library's journals are stored on open shelves. The journals are arranged in alphabetical order and most of them can be borrowed as a normal loan.
