The position is for a 5-year period with the possibility of extension.
The academic position
The clinical professor will be appointed at the Department of Regional Health Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, SDU. The position will be within orthopaedic surgery. Special focus areas should include epidemiologic research using national quality registries, new treatment regimens and technical aspects of hip and knee arthroplasty.
A position as professor with a background in molecular biology, bioinformatics, medicine or equivalent, is vacant at the Department of Clinical Genetics, Lillebaelt University Hospital, Vejle and Department of Regional Health Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
The role is divided into 80% academic responsibilities and 20% clinical duties. The clinical responsibilities exclusively involve developing and implementing innovative diagnostic analyses and offering support and assistance for research projects initiated by clinical staff within the department. The position is for a 5-year period with the possibility of extension.
