Former CMLer Kristin Bourassa joins Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences

Kristin Bourassa takes up a new position at the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences

After four years as CML Academic Manager and postdoc, Kristin Bourassa has taken up a new post as Program Officer at the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences (http://www.ideas-idees.ca/). A non-profit organization based in Ottawa, Canada, the Federation promotes research and teaching in the humanities and social sciences for the advancement of an inclusive, democratic and prosperous society. Kristin will be working on programming for events such as the annual Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences (average attendance 8,000 people) and the Big Thinking on the Hill lecture series, which brings leading scholars to Parliament Hill to discuss public policy issues.
