Application guidelines

The application and any additional uploads must be written in English.

The first part of the application includes the basic information of the applicant and the student.

The next part of the application must include information about the project; project title, start and end date.

The grant period must also be accounted for – 6 or 12 months (there cannot be payments of less than 6 months)

Each Scholarship constitutes a fixed amount of DKK 200,000 for 12 months, or DKK 100,000 for 6 months, which is paid into a research account managed by SDU. The Scholarships are divided as follows:

 

12-month Scholarship: DKK 200,000

Salary for the student:     DKK 144,000

Operational costs:              DKK 46,000

Administrative costs:        DKK 10,000

 

6-month Scholarship: DKK 100,000

Salary for the student:     DKK 72,000

Operational costs:              DKK 23,000

Administrative costs:        DKK 5,000

 

The application must include the following attachments:

  • Supervisor(s) CV
  • Student’s CV
  • Student's qualifications and motivation
  • Student's grades
  • Project description (max. 6 pages, excluding references)
  • Description of research environment and agreements for the planned guidance
  • Budget

 

Please make sure to name the documents with the relevant category and name (e.g. "Student's CV, applicant's name")
