The students' narratives highlight four central future themes
The short stories submitted by this year's participating students have been analyzed and compiled into four overarching themes, each shedding light on different perspectives on future climate action. The themes range from technological solutions to societal changes and individual actions. After the analysis, the students were invited to comment on and discuss the themes on the project's learning platform, where their reflections now contribute to the ongoing work.
The four main themes are:
- Science can save us – Science and technology as the driving force to mitigate and solve climate change.
- Individuals have the power – The daily actions of individuals as crucial for the future of the environment.
- Let’s get organized – Organizations, governments, and businesses as the key to responsible climate action.
- Society learns the hard way – Deep societal transformations as a consequence of climate-related crises.
Music triggers at Soundcloud:
- Science can save us = healers of the ecosystems
- Individuals have the power to = power from within
- Let’s gets organized = systemic governance
- society learns the hard way = sixty six?
