FAQ about NNF Scholarship

Applications can be submitted by supervisors planning a research project with a named student.

The student must be enrolled at a Danish faculty of health, in a study, which allows only a short master's thesis/research project of up to 30 ECTS.

There are two application deadlines each year

 

Yes, you can still apply - but only for the remaining period of the project.

The scholarship cannot be paid retroactively.

These master programs are approved for applying - if your master program is not in the applications module, you cannot apply for the scholarships
(It is up to the universities individually to decide which study programmes can be approved)

No, but you need to describe how the project fits into your master's programme and follow the regulations from your universities 
You can receive other funding for the project, as long as it is not funding allocated for salary, the Foundation do not allow double income. Additional funding for running costs and research related activities is allowed.

The student can work for up to 100 hours pr. 6 months (200 hours for 12 months) but the research activities must be the main priority
