Frederik Rosendal Rytter is a PhD Student at Centre for Quantum Mathematics.
Frederik joined QM October 1 2025 and will be exploring algorithms, advantages, and applications of a specialized photonic quantum computing model, called Gaussian Boson Sampling, with Jørgen E. Andersen as his main supervisor and Shan Shan as his co-supervisor.
Frederik completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics at Aarhus University, Denmark, where he developed a strong interest in mathematics, quantum optics, and quantum computing. During his bachelor’s thesis he worked with topological insulators and during his master’s thesis he worked in collaboration with the company Kvantify on the development of benchmarks for gate-based universal quantum computers.
