Inaugural seminar - Adjunct Professor Carsten Lundby

Join the inaugural seminar "Determinants and regulation of human blood volume: role in human performance" held by Adjunct Professor Carsten Lundby on November 1st

On the occasion of Carsten Lundby’s appointment as adjunct professor in the Research Unit of Muscle Physiology and Biomechanics at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, the Faculty of Health Sciences, SDU, hereby invites you to attend the inaugural seminar "Determinants and regulation of human blood volume: role in human performance".

The seminar will take place on November 1, 2022, from 14:00 hrs. (CET) in the Auditorium U46, Campusvej 55, 5230 Odense M with the following program:

14.00-14.10: Introduction and welcome by Jens Troelsen, Head of Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, SDU

14.10-14.55: Determinants and regulation of human blood volume: role in human performance by Carsten Lundby, Professor, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway

14.55-15.30: Plasticity of mitochondrial network and ultrastructure by Joachim Nielsen, Associate Professor, Muscle Physiology and Biomechanics Research group, Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, SDU

15.30-15.45: Discussion and closing of the seminar

After the seminar, a reception will be held in Meeting Room 1, 1st Floor, building 34,2 at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, SDU.
