EXCENTRICC is a platform for scientific collaboration between different disciplines, all working on a common theme: adrenocortical hormones.

WP1 - Improve the identification and diagnosis of patients with cortisol disorders

WP2 - Improve identification of patients at risk for glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis

WP3 - Investigate whether adrenal insufficiency can explain why some bariatric surgery-patients develop post-prandial hypoglycemia

WP4 - Improve handling of asymptomatic adrenal insufficiency after long-term GC

WP5 - Clarify whether hypercortisolism in patients with Anorexia Nervosa has mental adverse effects

Headed by professor Jan Frystyk Excellence Center for Improved Diagnostics and Use of Corticosteroids in Clinical Practice (EXCENTRICC), Department of Endocrinology, Odense University Hospital, is awarded "Center for Clinical Excellence" by Region of Southern Denmark
