The climate of the future will be warmer, wetter and more extreme. This will have consequences for the way we live and work. In Denmark we will get more precipitation, more wind and higher temperatures. Our cities will more often be hit by floods and storms. This will present new challenges and require sustainable, interdisciplinary solutions that are at the forefront of climate change.

Sustainable climate adaptation solutions require collaboration between many disciplines. Therefore, teaching in this programme emphasises working in interdisciplinary project groups, where you and your fellow students are trained in using your different disciplines in group work with relevant, current cases. You must want to think interdisciplinarily, familiarise yourself with new subject areas, gather knowledge and build bridges between disciplines.

Master of Climate Adaptation is a one-year academic extension training programme, which is taught only in Danish. Therefore, you must be able to prove Danish language proficiency in order to be admitted into the programme.
