Management and administration

The management of the University of Southern Denmark consists of the Rector, Pro-Rector, University Director and the deans of all five faculties. The faculties are supported by the Central Administration, which includes HR, Finance, IT, among others.

The Board

The highest authority of the University of Southern Denmark, the Board is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction.
The Rectorate

The Rectorate is the senior management of the University and consists of the Rector, Pro-Rector and University Director.
The Executive Board

The Executive Board consists of the rectorate and the deans of all five faculties at SDU.
Central Administration

SDU’s Central Administration works across the entire University and provides administrative support and services.
The Appointment Body

The Appointment Body appoints the external members and the Chair of the Board of the University of Southern Denmark.
