Operating Hours
24/7 Access: Students and staff at SDU have round-the-clock access to the libraries every day of the year using their student/employee card. Other users can access the library during operating hours.
Services and facilities available at all university library locations
We provide a range of physical facilities and services that are available across the university's campus cities:
- 24/7 Access – round-the-clock access for students and employees with an SDU card at all libraries.
- Study Spaces and Group Rooms – quiet zones and flexible work areas for individual and group use.
- Print, Scan, and Copy – uniform facilities across all campuses, accessible with SDU login.
- Pickup and Return – materials can be picked up and returned both during staffed hours and via self-service.
- Guidance – both physically and digitally.
- All library branches are designed with a focus on good study conditions and accessibility for everyone.

Please note that the library is not staffed on the following days:
- All Saturdays and Sundays
- Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Monday
- Ascension Day. The following Friday closed (Odense, however, service from 8 AM to 4 PM)
- Whit Monday
- Constitution Day (5 June)
- The university's annual celebration
- Last opening day before Christmas (after 2 PM)
- Christmas Eve, all weekdays between Christmas and New Year (Odense, however, service from 10 AM to 2 PM)
- New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
