Why Mechatronics?
Mechatronics combines mechanics, electronics, and software in intelligent systems that can control, regulate, and automate everything from robots and production equipment to EV’s and energy systems. As a Master of Science in Engineering in Mechatronics, you help develop solutions that make future technology more efficient, flexible, and sustainable.
On the three-year Industrial Master, you combine studies and work. This gives you the opportunity to continuously apply your theoretical knowledge in practice and gain experience from a real engineering job while you study.
Course highlights
In the first year, you study full-time, learning to model, control, and programme complex mechatronic systems with a focus on control engineering, embedded software, machine learning, and experimental testing. In the second and third years, you work at least 25 hours a week in a company – either one you find yourself or one SDU can help you find – while studying part-time.
