Vision-based Mechatronic Control for Unmanned Aerial Systems

Peter's PhD project focuses on:

On vision-based control and autonomous navigation for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). His research explores computer vision, sensor fusion, and intelligent flight control to enable robust and adaptive drone operation in complex environments. The project aims to enhance  autonomy, stability, and energy efficiency in UAVs operating in dynamic environments and decision-making for UAVs using real-time image processing and onboard sensing systems.

 

Key Technologies:  Computer vision, sensor fusion, deep learning, adaptive flight control, UAV autonomy.

Applications:  Aerial inspection, surveillance, and environmental monitoring.
