Programme structure

The Master programme, which lasts two years, builds on a Bachelor or Bachelor of Engineering in, for example, Electrical Energy Technology.

In the Master programme in Energy Technology, you also have the opportunity to choose to specialise in Energy Informatics.

In the traditional MSc in Engineering (Energy Technology), you work, among other things, with:

  • Energy system analysis
  • Modelling and optimisation
  • Resource economics and life cycle analysis
  • Troubleshooting
  • Multi-agent simulation
  • Innovation management, patenting, market analysis, business plan, technology potential

In the MSc in Engineering (Energy Informatics), you work, among other things, with:

  • Object-oriented programming
  • Modelling, optimisation and model-based regulation of energy systems and processes
  • Digital Twin technology
  • Multi-agent system
  • Innovation management, patenting, market analysis, business plan, technology potential
  • Database and information systems in the energy sector

The programme has a high degree of internationalisation as well as international teachers who teach in English.
