Landing page

This page type is characterized by having a large and wide top image and a wide content field. This means that there is no right column, as on the content and universe page.

Due to the wide content field, the landing page is not very suitable for text. Instead, it works really well as a distribution page for subpages, etc. and thus to redirect the user to more content-heavy pages further down the structure.

The landing page is therefore often used as a navigation page at the upper levels, level 1-3, eg front pages for centers, institutes and units. It visualizes via buttons and call-to-actions the subpages that are further down in the page structure / page tree.

Cassogram, call-to-actions and navigation

An effective way to build your landing page is with a cassogram. It is a collection of buttons that send the user on to subpages and other related content, and thus it is a good way to visualize the menu structure..

Read a guide to making a cassogram - and see an example of a cassogram inserted in a "Row12" below.
