Building Green is an event focused on sustainable architecture, design and solutions. At the fair, you can meet exhibitors who each has their own suggestion on products for the future’s sustainable buildings as well as a range of other inspirational activities, with the purpose of creating networks and develop ideas for new green projects.

SDU Civil and Architectural Engineering was part of the joint booth “Sund Byggeri” with Byg Sundt import ApS, Enervisual og KKS woodfibre. Here, research results were presented regarding hygroscopic, energy- and indoor environment technical solutions based on a full-scale prototype building called “The Natural House”.

The representatives from SDU could, among other things, present that by building with a building concept, where no vapour barrier is used, but using materials with hygroscopic properties (moisture transfer), you can achieve a healthy building, with a high indoor climate, very low energy consumption (BR2020), low CO2 imprint and security regarding risk of mould and dry rot growth.
