On the occasion of Charlotte Overgaard’s appointment as Professor in Public Health and User Perspectives at the Unit for Health Promotion Research, Department of Public Health, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), and at Esbjerg Hospital, University Hospital of Southern Denmark, the Faculty of Health Sciences hereby invites you to attend an inaugural seminar with the following program:

13.35-14.05 Health inequalities in maternity care and service innovation: learnings and reflections from
the UK; Jane Sandall, CBE, PhD, midwife, Professor of Social Sciences and Women’s Health, King’s College London, UK, Head of Midwifery Research, NHS England, and WHO advisor. Bio: Professor Jane Sandall CBE

interventions; Tine Curtis, PhD, Adjunct Professor at Aalborg University and SDU. Head of Center for prevention in practice, Local Government Denmark (KL) and Head of research and Center for applied research on community health services, Aalborg Municipality, Denmark.

After the seminar, a reception will be held outside ‘Rundetårn’. The Faculty of Health Sciences would like to invite all interested persons to attend the seminar and the following reception.
