FastLabNet is an EU-funded development project between Fachhochschule Kiel and the University of Southern Denmark. One of the project's main goals is to strengthen and consolidate the universities' expertise within fatigue strength and modal analysis.
The project runs from September 2011 to March 2015. Since the project's inception, laboratory equipment has been modernized and supplemented. The laboratories now boast some of the latest theoretical and experimental methods as well as machines. The benefits are numerous, as this both elevates the level of engineering education at the universities and provides industry access to improved research and development services.
