Master's level as well as additional high-level qualifications.

Job content:

Teaching / part-time, conduct exams.

Employment period:

Max 3 x 3 years.

Possibility of permanent employment after 2 extensions.

Expectations for part-time lecturer

The position as part-time lecturer is a part-time position, the main content of which is teaching. The purpose of this job category is to provide opportunities for the employment of teachers with relevant practical experience or special qualifications at a high level.

Research

There is no requirement as concerns research experience

Education

  • Experience with teaching at all levels documented by positive student evaluations
  • Experience with successful supervision and examination of bachelor's and master's students
  • Pedagogical competencies, e.g. via SDU’s postgraduate teaching training course
  • Experience with educational management and / or course development and coordination
  • By appointment provide working hours related to teaching
  • Updated teaching portfolio

Administration

  • Participate in department, faculty and university committees (eg employment, development)
  • Participate in advisory committees, national and international committees and guideline committees
  • General administrative tasks at department level (registration, budgeting, financial management, etc.)

Personal capacity

  • To be a role model with participation in the department's social and professional life (meetings, seminars, PhD defense and other department or university events)
  • To nurture good working relationships with colleagues and be ready to back them up if necessary
  • Motivation for and ability to take leadership in pedagogical development and departmental development
  • Exponent of a scientific standard and knowledge sharing at the department
  • Engaged in career development and in creating opportunities for younger researchers in projects and other initiatives
