Danish Centre for Rural Research - CLF

About the project

The objectives of the project is to develop and design a universal high-quality training program for cultural workers in rural municipalities and rural cultural institution in the EU.

The training program should provide the cultural workers with core competences to facilitate processes that can lead to the anchoring and building of a dynamic rural youth culture with their own room as an integrated space in their home rural area.

The project suggests an innovative framework for quality training of cultural workers as a central action. for meeting these political aims. Such suggestion follows up on the structured dialogue among experts in the cultural sectors and recommendation in the Voices of Culture report. Here it is stated that there is a lack of cross-generational cooperation and intergenerational dialogue and that formal cultural training programmes and education do not target mobilization of this group

Method

The development of the training program i based on different data which among other is collected via: An anlysis of young people's needs in Denmark, Finland and Portugal, an online questionnaire survey, workshops and various events.

The data is used for developing a training program which will be tested on a number of stakeholders.

The project is funded by Erasmus+

Funded by EU-POS
