Useful information for business partners

SDU has approximately 25 info screens located on all campuses. As a business partner, you can get content targeted to students displayed on SDU’s info screens.

The content can last up to 15 seconds, and you can choose between a video without audio or 1–3 images (evenly spaced within the 15 seconds).

The same material can be visible for about two weeks to ensure the message stays relevant. There may be an opportunity to have it re-displayed at a later time if the content is still relevant.

The video will be included in a rolling view with 12–15 other slides (typically from student unions), which means your video will be viewed more than 10 times per hour. Only one video from a business partner is running at a time, so there will be high exposure during the time the video is shown.

When submitting content, you must decide whether it should be shown in all five campus cities (Odense, Slagelse, Kolding, Esbjerg and Sønderborg) or in select campus cities.

Content guidelines

The content must be study and/or career relevant and approved by SDU before publication.

The content must be relevant to a broad sample of SDU’s students, so anything that affects only one or two fields of education will not be approved.

The content must be dynamic and address a relevant and current need or offer, e.g. participation in an SDU event, opening for applications for graduate programmes, courses/events, offers for students and future graduates, open collaboration opportunities (e.g. project or internship), etc.

Content focusing on, for example, high salaries, a good lunch agreement or number of days’ holiday will not be approved by SDU.

Great content on info screens has:

• Topical messages that are relevant right here and now
• Ultra-short and concise message
• Only one language; if the course is in English, write only in English
• As large a font size as possible
• Persons/faces
• Specific instructions for action with either a short URL or QR code.

Before you start producing the video, we recommend you reach out to your contact at SDU to avoid having your video rejected.

Formats

The content must be an image or video in the format below:

• Odense, Slagelse, Kolding and Sønderborg: 1920 x 842 pixels
• Esbjerg: 1920 x 1080 pixels

Images must be submitted individually and be in JPEG format and minimum 3 MB.

Video should be sent in MPEG4 format and last a maximum of 20 seconds.

As a business partner, you can create a free company profile in SDU Jobbank and post positions.

With a company profile in SDU's job bank, you can:

• increase your visibility because you can tell more about your company on the company page than in a single job posting.
• search the CV database for the most relevant candidates for your position among the students who have uploaded their CV.
• get increased exposure, as posts and events from a business partner rank higher in search results and appear in the filters ‘“Targeted posts’ (Danish: Målrettede stillinger) and ‘Posts from partners’ (Danish: Stillinger fra partnere), and your company is highlighted in the enterprise module.

When you are going to participate in an event, you can send the following materials for the promotion:

• Presenter image (PNG file with the background removed or suitable for removal)
• Logo (PNG, transparent background)
• Short teaser text (max. 250 characters) and a slightly longer description of the event with a short introduction (why is it relevant/current?), bullets with outcome for participants (what will they learn?), short presentation of your organisation and presenter, and preparation (if any) by participants.
• If necessary, video for social media (MP4 format; file size varies by channel)

A temporary booth (a pit stop) at one of SDU’s campuses can provide visibility among the students.

Book a pit stop

If you want to book a pit stop, please email Technical Services at 8888@sdu.dk with request for date, time, city (campus).

If you want a booth in Odense, you must also write where on campus you would like to stand. View a map of possible locations in Odense (PDF format) .

The hourly rate for a pit stop is DKK 500.00. All external parties, including voluntary organisations, must pay for the service.

Rules for pit stop

The permission is granted on condition that you do not ask for any kind of signatures, whether binding or non-binding, including the taking out of subscriptions.

It is not allowed to hand out merchandises/goods sold in the canteen (e.g. water bottles) without prior agreement. Pure sales are also prohibited.

You must make sure that your booth is not a nuisance to the general traffic at the University or blocks escape routes.
