Kim Ravnskjær, Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, has received 200,000 DKK from Augustinusfonden for the project Identification of fibrose-associated membrane receptors in the liver and investigation of their potential in treatment of chronic liver disease in collaboration with University of Copenhagen.
The Laboratory for Coherent Education and Learning (LSUL) has received 3,000,000 DKK for a research project, which is part of bigger project about developing new ways of teaching science in state schools (folkeskolen). The total budget is 35,000,000 DKK and it is funded by Kata Fonden and four Danish municipalities (kommuner).
Lars Kumala, Department of Biology, has defended his Ph.D. thesis with the lecture Filtration activity, respiration and aging in sponges.
Ma Chun, Department of Biology, has defended her Ph.D. thesis with the lecture Nitrous oxide production pathways during biological nitrogen removal in wastewater treatment.
Associate Professor, Centre for Cosmology and Particle Physics Phenomenology, Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, Heidi Rzehak‘s work A review of Higgs mass calculations in supersymmetric models has been selected for Elsevier’s Virtual Special Issue on Women in Physics 2017.
