The advisory board for Tourism

Purpose:
The advisory board serves as a dialogue-creating and quality assurance forum for the master’s degree programme in International Tourism and Leisure Management and the European Master in Tourism Management programme at the University of Southern Denmark. It also discusses issues that contribute to promoting good collaboration between the programmes and the surrounding society.

The advisory board panel discusses and advises on

  • the quality and relevance of education programmes for society and the development of existing programmes
  • the need for new skills and the development of new education programmes
  • job areas and scopes of tasks for graduates of the programmes and the development of new job areas
  • development of new teaching methods
  • collaboration between programmes and employers on projects, internships, theses, etc. for the duration of study
  • marketing of the programmes and the graduates of the programmes
As of 19 March 2021, the advisory board covers the following programmes: MA in International Tourism and Leisure Management and EMTM.
