Evaluation of health care interventions

Bemærk - denne side er kun skrevet på engelsk.

We study the effects of health care interventions ranging from new technologies, new organisational features to new payment schemes. For this purpose we conduct registry analyses and/or apply survey methods.

We apply the most appropriate method of evaluation depending on whether we are dealing with a randomised controlled trial, a natural experiment or a laboratory experiment. The objective is in any case to identify and understand reasons for a causal mechanism.

We analyse a broad set of outcomes when conducting our evaluations, including costs, health outcomes, labour outcomes and cost effectiveness.

We focus on heterogenous effects, and assess distributional consequences in order to assess implications of policies with respect to inequity in health and inequity in access to health care services.
