Work/research interests

Aims of research:

  1. Study how epigenetic activation of genes, normally only expressed in male germ cells (i.e. cancer/testis antigens), support hallmark phenotypes of cancer cells.

  2. Study the complex interactions between cancer cells and immune cells in the tumor microenvironment and find novel ways to modulate these to enhance anti-tumor immunity.

Methods and techniques

In vivo/in vitro tumor models, single-cell sequencing, advanced sequencing.
