4. EU Erasmus + MARHER project on Cultural Heritage Marketing. Communicating cultural heritage and nostalgia. From 2020-2022, Klarissa Lueg has been in charge of several outcomes of the Erasmus+ project ”MARHER- The Cultural Heritage Marketer”. The project network has developed learning material for communication and marketing experts to qualify within the field of corporate cultural heritage marketing. Small and middle-sized companies, especially, can benefit from communicating their history, their culture and their ties to local and regional communities and stakeholders. Vice versa, regions and citizens can benefit from companies and organizations engaging in memory work by, e.g. funding corporate museums, designing archives or yearbooks and by including citizens in their storytelling. The concept of cultural heritage marketing is novel. It will, from 2022, be taught in a workshop to students in the course ”Business Communication” at SDU. The learning material consists of several chapters designed by a European network (e.g. Danitacom – The Danish-Italian chamber of commerce; Vilnius University, i-strategies) and is available open access on marher.eu.
