A research field characterized by diversity and interdisciplinarity

This group is driven by an interest in unconventional tracers and methods, a fundamental understanding of physiology, and a basic comprehension of disease mechanisms in terms of for example kinetics and their influence on clinical examinations.

We operate within a domain covering PET- as well as gamma camera imaging, non-imaging, laboratory models, and phantom studies. Methods are modeling, segmentation, and quantification among others.

Due to the different scientific backgrounds of the group members and our collaborators, we have a broad span of competencies and multifarious projects, and we are ready to be experimental. We believe that niche examinations can contribute to new knowledge and novel applications of nuclear medicine.
