34th HOS-Conference in Esbjerg

From Friday 14 May until Saturday 15 May 2010

From Friday 14 May until Saturday 15 May 2010 the Department of Environmental and Business Economics at the University of Southern Denmark, Research Group Markets & Competition, is hosting the 34th Hohenheimer Oberseminar in Esbjerg.

The Hohenheimer Oberseminar is a conference series that takes place twice a year at different universities, mostly in Germany. It particularly addresses young researchers and scholars and brings them together with leading scholars in the field.

The conference focuses on economic issues. In particular it offers comments on and discussions of the accepted papers by leading scholars in the fields of market and industry analysis, competition and regulation as well as economic policy strategies.

For the conference in Esbjerg that already starts with a get-together on Thursday evening we expect 40 participants from 12 different universities. 14 Papers were accepted and will be presented and discussed by leading scholars on Friday and Saturday before the conference closes with a collective lunch on Saturday afternoon. Please also refer to the conference program attached.

We like to gratefully acknowledge financial support from EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG.
