What do I need to remember when submitting the PhD thesis?
You must notify the Head of Department and the PhD School well in advance (approx. two months) before submitting your thesis in order to have an assessment committee composed when submitting your thesis. Your thesis must be submitted on the date of expiry of your PhD study at the latest.
What are the procedures for submitting your PhD thesis?
As per 1 September 2021 PhD theses must be handed in digitally through uploading via SDU’s Research Portal PURE.
What must be uploaded?
- You must upload the final and complete version of your thesis including both a Danish and English abstract in PDF-format. The following documents must be attached:
- Activity overview (separately uploaded in PDF-format)
- Statement from your principal supervisor and co-author statement, if any (jointly uploaded in PDF-format)
