What is "Student for a day"?
As a student for a day, you can experience everyday life on one of the Social Sciences programmes. You spend an ordinary day at university with a student. By accompanying the student to classes and other academic activities, you can get a real glimpse of what everyday life as a student is like.
This entails experiencing the study environment, the academic level of the programme and having the opportunity to ask clarifying questions. All this to make you feel more prepared before deciding on a specific course of study.
You can be student for a day in all of our Social Sciences bachelor's and master's degree programmes.
Who can become a student for a day?
For the bachelor's degree programmes, 'Student for a day' is ideal for current or graduated upper secondary school students.

When can you become a student for a day?
To make the most of your visit, it is best to visit SDU during peak periods, when the university is brimming of student life, classes and activities.
Visit the programmes during these periods:
- mid-February – early May
- mid- September – early December
You arrange the meeting with the student on a date that suits you.

Once we have received your registration, we will find a student who suits your wishes. The student contacts you, and together you will find a day that fits into your calendar and with the student's classes.
