Get an overview of the important dates when you apply for admission to bachelor's or engineering programmes at SDU.
The applications for education in Denmark, must be sent through the Danish national application system optagelse.dk.
Optagelse.dk is open for admission from February 1.
All applicants with a foreign qualifying examination must submit their application in quota 2 (referring to the Danish quota system).
Submit your application in quota 2 before March 15 at 12 noon.
Most applicants will have to attend the Adimssion Test wich is called uniTEST. The uniTEST score is a part of the entry requirements in quota 2 (referring to the Danish quota system).
Registration for uniTEST takes place via the Admission Self Service optag.sdu.dk. Deadline for registration is March 20 at 12 noon.
You will receive an e-mail with a login to optag.sdu.dk, as soon as SDU receives your application from the Danish national application system optagelse.dk.
The Admissuon Test 'UniTEST' is held online, and you will be assigned a specific time and date in the period March 28 - April 26.
No matter how many programmes you have applied to, you only attend the uniTEST once.
Remember to upload the following documents to your application on optagelse.dk before July 5 at 12 noon:
Final diploma
Documentation about supplementary courses
Language test results
Documentation from school about taking a make-up examination to finish your qualifying examination (your acceptance will be conditional on you finishing and passing your upper secondary high school diploma)
Note to non EU/EEA applicants: As a non EU/EEA applicant, it is not possible to take supplementaty courses after July 5, why you have to upload all your documents at latest July 5 at 12 noon.
You can change the order of your priorities until July 5 at 12 noon.
Reordering your priorities takes place via optagelse.dk.
You will receive a final answer to your application on July 28.
The offer or rejection to your application can be found on the Admission Self Service optag.sdu.dk.
Remember to confirm your spot via the Admission Self Service optag.sdu.dk no later than August 4.
You loose your spot if you do not confirm in time.
If you have taken supplementary courses or a language test after July 5, you may remember to upload the diploma/transcript before August 31.
