Do you need special support during your training?

What is SPS?

SPS is an offer of advice and support during the programme for students who:

  • have a mental health diagnosis or neurological disorder
  • have a physical disability
  • have dyslexia
  • have dyscalculia

The scheme seeks to ensure that you can complete your education on a level playing field with your fellow students. Therefore, the help you can get is highly individualised. Support options may include, for example:

  • IT tools for dyslexics
  • Other relevant tools
  • Sessions with a reading and writing specialist
  • Sessions with an SPS advisor

We help you seek support upon admission

The support is granted by the Danish Agency for Education and Quality, and SDU seeks the support on your behalf once you are admitted. We recommend that you send us the relevant documents as soon as possible after being admitted due to the processing time.

For more information about support options and applications, please refer to SDU’s website for enrolled students.
