We warmly invite you—as a researcher, student, or practitioner —to participate in the research seminar: Health from an Existential, Philosophical, and Eco-Phenomenological Perspective.
In this seminar, we will place particular emphasis on exploring the concept of Eco-Existential or Eco-Spiritual Healthfrom a Philosophical and Eco-Phenomenological Perspective.
Keynote Speaker:
Professor Eric Nelson, Department of Philosophy, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
Professor Nelson is a leading figure in contemporary environmental philosophy and in eco-phenomenology inspired by Daoist and Heideggerian thought.

The seminar is organized in collaboration between the Centre for the Understanding of Human Relationships with the Environment (CUHRE) at the University of Southern Denmark and the research group Time, Existence, and Nature Connection (TEN) at Aalborg University (Denmark). In 2024, these two groups jointly hosted a study circle for researchers and PhD students on Professor Nelson’s book Dao and Heidegger (2024).
The event takes place at SDU, campus Odense in OD HUM IKV Comenius Meetingroom (Ø10-212-1).
