Abstract
I will introduce 2-associahedra - a family of abstract polytopes by Nate Bottman that should stand behind the theory of (A-infinity,2)-categories, with intended applications in symplectic geometry. I will explain what is meant by "they form a relative 2-operad over associahedra". Time permitting, I will touch upon ongoing project on realizations of 2-associahedra (joint with Spencer Backman and Nate Bottman).
