SDU Robotics is a unit within the Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Institute at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark (SDU). With approximately 60 employees, we are based in Odense. We are committed to moving beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries and developing new technologies and scientific approaches across fields.
Our research contributes to new knowledge and innovative solutions in areas such as welfare, healthcare, industrial automation, laboratory automation, and agriculture. We also have a long-standing tradition of close collaboration with industrial partners, ensuring that our research addresses real-world challenges and has practical applications.
In addition, SDU Robotics plays an active role in the educational programme in Robot Systems Engineering, which welcomes around 130 new students each year.
