Call for Papers

EuroDroS photo gallery drones

It is our pleasure to invite you to the first European Drone Symposium (EuroDroS) that will be held on June 2, 2026 in Odense in conjunction with the annual International Drone Show taking place June 3-4.

Background and scope

EuroDroS is a satellite event of the International Drone Show and is hosted by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). It will focus on networking among academics and spotlight early-stage research in drone technology and its applications with post-event publication of extended abstracts in an open-access proceedings.

Topics

We invite original research contributions, reports on on-going work, case studies, and perspectives on future research, on topics related to drone research, including (but not limited to): Autonomous Navigation & Control; Defense Applications; On-board Computing; Systems Engineering; Perception & Sensing; Human-Drone Interaction; Swarm Robotics; Applications; Regulations; Sustainability.

Submission

All submissions are handled via the Easychair platform. Papers need to be formatted according to the double-column format and IEEE guidelines. Extended abstracts are limited to max 4 double-column pages. Final papers are restricted to 6 pages and will be published in a post-conference proceedings on arxiv.org.
