Assistant Professor: Emanuela Del Dottore
Dr. Emanuela Del Dottore, with a background in Computer Science (University of Pisa) and a Ph.D. in Biorobotics (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa), bridges biology and robotics to design bioinspired control strategies. She has helped establish plant-inspired robotics and growing robots within the Soft Robotics Community and now focuses on computational models for distributed robot control. Her goal is to develop adaptive, compliant, and efficient robotic systems capable of exploring and monitoring complex, unstructured environments.
