Welcome Diego Aponte
Diego joins DHFE as a Postdoc, focusing on antenna design and communication systems.
The Digital and High‑Frequency Electronics Section warmly welcomes our new Postdoc, Diego!
Diego joins us with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, specializing in remote sensing and space systems. His expertise spans applied electromagnetics, RF/microwave engineering, antennas, software‑defined radios, and radar instrumentation. He also brings strong experience in novel remote sensing system development, antenna and metamaterial applications, high‑speed communication technologies, and the use of advanced signal processing and machine learning to enhance system performance.
We are excited to have Diego on board and look forward to the contributions he will make to our research and innovation activities.
