Medicinal Chemistry is an interdisciplinary programme at the intersection of chemistry, molecular biology and pharmacy.
The programme gives you a broad chemical background with a focus on organic chemistry, supplemented with biological knowledge about the function of drugs in the body and pharmaceutical expertise in how drugs are formulated.
Whereas our Master's Degree Programme in Medicinal Chemistry is taught in English, the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Sotuhern Denmark is offered only in Danish. Therefore, you must be able to prove Danish language proficiency in order to be admitted into the programme.
