What is a bachelor's degree?

Undergraduate programmes are your first step into higher education after upper secondary school. You build a strong academic foundation through research-based teaching and develop analytical and practical skills at a high academic level. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree qualifies you for advanced studies and a broad range of professional career paths.

Applying and admissions

Application deadline

Submit you application for a bachelor's programme at SDU via the Danish national application system optagelse.dk.

The application portal opens on 1 February, and the final deadline is 15 March at 12 noon (CET).

This deadline is final and late applications are not accepted. We look forward to receiving your application.

Admission test (uniTEST)

The admission test uniTEST is mandatory for most international applicants and we advise everybody to participate because it will improve your chances of securing a student place.

The uniTEST takes place online from late March to late April.

You will receive your invitation for uniTEST via SDU's self-service system sdu.dk/admission after you have applied for admission.
