Health Science
Master students who have completed a minimum of 180 ECTS and are enrolled in a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Health Science, Midwifery or a relevant health science study programmes can be accepted to follow courses at the Master’s level.

Medicine
The BSc and MSc in Medicine study programmes are taught in Danish with the exception of a few 5-ECTS elective courses at the Master's level.
Clinical placement
Only Master's students from partner universities can be accepted to do clinical training.
As a medicine student from a partner university, you can apply for clinical rotations. In close collaboration with Odense University Hospital, the Faculty of Health Sciences offers a limited number of clinical rotations for students from partner universities. Students cannot be guaranteed a placement in Odense and might be placed in one of the affiliated teaching hospitals in the Region of Southern Denmark.
All clinical rotations are organized through The Faculty of Health Sciences, and students apply to SDU as regular exchange students.
The following types of clinical rotations are available and can be combined to a maximum of 12 weeks. Ability to combine rotations depend on capacity and availability:
- Six weeks = 10 ECTS (Surgical or Medicine)
- Four weeks = 8 ECTS (Surgical or Medicine)
- Two weeks = 3 ECTS (Surgical or Medicine)
The examination is a portfolio assessment (pass/fail) based on 11 learning objectives for clinical training. The student is assessed on an ongoing basis during the clinical placement.
Please beware that availability in the respective clinical areas are subject to change. Kindly state your clinic wishes and 2-3 suggestions for the clinic period in your exchange application.
Pharmacy
Master students who have completed a minimum of 180 ECTS are allowed to follow courses at the Master’s level.
The MSc in Pharmacy study programme is taught in Danish. Students from partner universities who wish to follow MSc level courses in English must contact studyhealthscience@health.sdu.dk
Psychology
Bachelor students who have completed a minimum of 120 ECTS can be accepted to follow courses at the Bachelor’s level.

Public Health
Bachelor students who have completed a minimum of 120 ECTS can be accepted to follow courses at the Master’s level (except S550023301 Cardiac Rehabilitation – a Model of Academic Presentation).
The MSc in Public Health is an international English study programme. All lectures at the Master’s level take place at campus Esbjerg. Click here for the course overview
