Housing options
Rooms are situated close to the city centre, the train and bus station, and the University. Each room includes a single bedroom with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Internet access is available in all accommodation.
In many cases, the setup is similar to a dormitory or student hall, but rented out privately.
The monthly rent is typically between DKK 2,400 and 3,500, including utilities. Before arrival, you must pay a deposit, usually equivalent to 2–3 months’ rent.
Deadlines
To keep your housing guarantee, you must apply before:
1 May (23:59 CET) – for September intake
1 November (23:59 CET) – for February intake
To secure your housing guarantee, you must apply before the deadline — even if you are not yet enrolled to SDU.
