Engineering Operations Management Aim, Mission & Profile

The Engineering Operations Management Section does research and innovation in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) in collaboration with DK and EUR companies in mainly the manufacturing, shipping, logistics and energy sectors.

Projects contribute to competitive design, operations, maintenance and decommissioning for industrial facilities and value chains, emphasizing improvement of OSCM performance measured from multiple perspectives, as quality, delivery, efficiency flexibility, sustainability and resilience.

EOM section expertise and interests cover a variety of engineering, management and business subjects. Staff work with an applied interdisciplinary problem-solving approach, as well as our engineering studies provide students skills and capabilities in addressing industrial and societal challenges.

Engineering Operations Management (EOM) focuses on how technologies, engineering and management methods can be applied to design and realization of industrial product or services and provision processes which are digital, sustainable and resilient for businesses operating in global competitive markets.
