Qualifying upper secondary exams

Qualifying for

  • Bachelor's degree programmes
  • Bachelor of Engineering

Assessment

Your upper secondary qualifications allow your application to be assessed based on your grades only. However, SDU always recommends that you take the admission test (uniTEST). The grade point average (GPA) thresholds may change from year to year, and taking the test may increase your chances of admission.

Documents needed

  • Leaving Certificate
  • Grade transcripts last 3 years
  • Statement of hours

Qualifying for

  • Bachelor's degree programmes, only if English on Danish B level and mathematics on Danish C level are included in the qualification
  • Bachelor of Engineering

  • Leaving Certificate confirmation of obtained points of 2 mandatory course modules
  • Grade transcripts last 3 years
  • Statement of hours

Qualifying for

  • Bachelor of Engineering

  • QI/FETAC Level 5 Certificate and QQI/FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate
  • Grade transcripts last 3 year
  • Statement of hours

Only qualifying if the certificate alligns the applied program.


Please note

Admission also depends on meeting programme-specific subject requirements.

Required subjects and levels (A, B or C) are based on the Danish upper secondary school system and are listed on each bachelor programme page.
