Christian Hatting Voss

My name is Christian Hatting Voss, and I am an e-learning consultant at SDUUP.

I am educated in the field of strategic communication, organisation, economics together with learning and it and I have been working with it in many forms and shapes during my entire career.

I am particularly interested in strategic implementation and usage of it, both in organisations and in teaching, with a primary focus on learning. But because no it-solution is worth anything without competent users, I am also very interested in user training. It should be functional and easy, and it should be taught in the right context and when the need arises. Therefore, I am also very interested in designing self-paced online courses. Oh, let’s not forget: I am a great fan of different O365 products – especially Teams.

When I offer assistance, I always take an analytic and pragmatic angle and I use the client’s situation as a starting point to solve concrete challenges. My courses and workshops are therefore always organised with a specific target group in mind and varies a lot in composition and duration. However, they are typically, as the example shows – Introduction to 4 tools in Office 365 (online course) - characterised by the use of self-studies, constructed according to all the rules of art, with short meetings focusing on introduction and basic understanding, followed by feedback on teaching and work-related assignments – and usually with the opportunity to receive continuous support.

In my latest series of 1-hour workshops regarding itslearning, the focus was clearly aimed at a quick understanding of the guidelines of good practice, and starting from the participants’ existing knowledge of the platform. Casper Sylvest, Associate Professor at the Department of History, participated in a 1-hour course on itslearning that has been very useful to him: “I especially enjoyed Christian’s offer to look through my course on itslearning after I had attend his workshop and made an attempt myself. It was very useful. So, it was an effectful course with a good opportunity for follow-up afterwards.”
