TAL - Teaching for Active Learning
TAL is SDU Centre for Teaching and Learning's annual conference, where teachers and others interested in education share experiences, exchange knowledge, and gain new inspiration on how to facilitate students’ active participation and learning in accordance with the underlying principles of education at SDU.
About TAL
The main them of the conference is active teaching and learning, which is the underlying principle of education at SDU. Each year, this theme is explored through a special focus, that highlights current perspectives and development in teaching practice.
The aims of the conference are to give the participants the opportunity to:
- Share, document, and discuss concrete examples of active teaching
- Find inspiration for developing or refining their own teaching practice
- Explore the annual subtheme through presentations, workshops, and dialogue
- Build networks across disciplines, faculties, and institutions
The primary target audience is staff from SDU and University Colleges in the Region of Southern Denmark, but the conference is open to all interested colleagues —both national and international.
